I am Samina Yousaf Abbasi from Dhirkot. Currently I am Phd student in China. I did my bachelor degree in International Relations from Women University of Azad Kashmir in 2016. I am from the first batch of our department. When I get admitted, my teacher Rabia Mustafa called me that they have new major and I should apply for that because I applied for Economics. However I agreed and started my new journey. After graduation, I started applying for Masters degree in different countries. But I got a lot of rejection. I realized, I should apply for job to support myself. So I started job in MTBC in 2019. However I didn’t give up due to the tough routine and strict environment of MTBC. Finally, I got scholarship from Chinese Government Scholarship in 2021. I started my Masters degree in East China Normal University but due to the Covid 19 I started my classes online. I applied for visa as the Chinese Government allowed us to come to China. In June 2022, I planned to travel to China but I couldn’t travel due to my positive rapid test in airport. My ticket couldn’t refund. I borrowed money again, bought ticket and planned my travel and finally reached in China but soon I lost my sister in law and father in November 2022. I couldn’t go back to Pakistan due to Covid restrictions and expensive tickets. That time I was working on my thesis. It was very hard for me to move on but thanks to my supervisor and my friends who helped me to move on. I was supposed to graduate on June 2023 and I had to apply for PhD. The stress level was so high. I had to help my family to move on as well. So I made my mind and started fighting. Alhamdulillah, I graduated on time in June 2023 and also got scholarships offer in China for PhD before my graduation day. Currently I am second year PhD in Central China Normal University in China. Although, I have a long journey ahead but I feel successful among others. My message to all the students, never give up, try again and again. Be motivated and start now because it is never too late. Don’t rely on others for success, work hard and get the success
